European Information Technology expert annual meeting
The State police Forensic Service Department from 14th to 16th September 2011 organized European Forensic IT expert workgroup annual meeting in Riga, Latvia. There where 54 participants from 18 countries.
The main topics on this meeting were mobile phones examination, GPS device forensics and SSD hard drives examination. The advanced mobile phone forensics using UFED Physical Analyzer workshop was held by Netherlands Forensic Institute.
Microsoft, Cellebrite and Microsystemation company’s representatives presented their forensics products and Technologies.
During the meeting the mid and long terms R&D goals of ENFSI FIT-WG was announced. Proposed to issue an annual working group collected articles, which will absorb scientific articles on topics that were discussed during the meeting.
